Do you have Photoshop? There's an excellent technique you can use to make your drawings perfect.
Go into Photoshop, put a scan of Preston's drawing on one layer, yours on another and make that one transparent. The closer the lines match, the closer you are to getting it right.
This helps you to learn distance of objects in relation to each other and form really well.
